Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with the ability to both circulate and scrub for a 13-week contract at a community hospital in North Carolina.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Surgical specialties include General, GYN, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and Endoscopy
- C-section cases are part of the caseload and require candidate comfort and proficiency
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Monday through Friday, day shift schedule (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
- On-call required 1–2 nights per week and every 5th weekend
- No regularly scheduled weekend shifts
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing
- Comfortable with C-section cases
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- RTO requests are limited to approximately one week for the duration of the contract
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
