Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, upper extremity function, cognitive skills, and overall independence
- Treat patients recovering from surgery, stroke, injury, neurological disorders, and medical illnesses
- Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, physicians, nursing staff, and case management teams
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety, and home exercise programs
- Complete daily EMR documentation and maintain productivity expectations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Texas OT license or ability to obtain one
- Hospital or outpatient rehab experience preferred
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Comfortable treating a mixed inpatient and outpatient caseload
