Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring ARRT(CT), ARRT(R), CA licensure, and at least 1 year of CT, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy experience.

- 17-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic setting
- Medical Imaging and CT departments
- Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and trauma cases
- Procedures include routine radiographic exams, CT exams, fluoroscopic procedures, portables, STAT, and surgical exams
- Potential to cover in the Orthopedic clinic for a portion of the assignment
- Night shifts, variable schedule of 30–40 hours per week
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy experience required
- Active ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certifications required
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- California Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required if applicable
- California Fluoroscopy Permit required if applicable
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing routine radiographic, CT, and fluoroscopic procedures across a range of case types including pediatric, trauma, and surgical exams
- Assists the Radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and documentation for physician dictation
- Responsible for quality assurance of department equipment, including tracking mechanical failures and submitting service requests
- Monitors and maintains department inventory and supply levels
- Verifies accuracy of exam requests and patient consents
- The facility offers optional on-site dorm-style housing (subject to availability) in furnished studio or one-bedroom apartments with private kitchen and bathroom, pool, fitness center, and common areas — at a monthly cost to the traveler
