Position Overview
A leading Level II Trauma Center in Michigan is seeking CT Technologists to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This role involves performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CT Techs or ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologists interested in cross-training into CT.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
- Obtain patient history and explain imaging procedures to patients
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans
- Administer contrast and medications within scope of practice
- Maintain imaging equipment and perform quality assurance checks
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
- Complete accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification required
- CT Certification required OR willingness to cross-train into CT within 12 months
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Associate Degree in Radiology highly preferred
