Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

School Psychologist – Burlington, VT | 2026–2027 School Year

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a school-based opportunity in Burlington, Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment supporting elementary or middle school students.

Position Details:

  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Location: Burlington, VT 05401
  • Assignment Dates: August 18, 2026 – June 17, 2027
  • Setting: Elementary or Middle School (placement TBD)
  • Caseload: Approximately 90 students with current IEPs
  • Work Setting: Primarily onsite
  • Hybrid/Remote Option: May be considered only if an onsite candidate is not secured

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
  • Support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development
  • Assist in developing intervention strategies and student support plans

Requirements:

  • Active Vermont School Psychologist licensure/certification or eligibility required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
