School Psychologist – Burlington, VT | 2026–2027 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a school-based opportunity in Burlington, Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment supporting elementary or middle school students.
Position Details:
- Position: School Psychologist
- Location: Burlington, VT 05401
- Assignment Dates: August 18, 2026 – June 17, 2027
- Setting: Elementary or Middle School (placement TBD)
- Caseload: Approximately 90 students with current IEPs
- Work Setting: Primarily onsite
- Hybrid/Remote Option: May be considered only if an onsite candidate is not secured
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development
- Assist in developing intervention strategies and student support plans
Requirements:
- Active Vermont School Psychologist licensure/certification or eligibility required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
