The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory accounting, and financial systems, and can quickly align system functionality with day-to-day business requirements. This Contract assignment is expected to run for 30 to 60 days and requires someone who can begin as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the existing QuickBooks configuration to determine completed work, uncover gaps, and define the remaining implementation roadmap.
• Lead the final stages of the QuickBooks deployment for both accounting and inventory processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational workflows and translate them into effective system usage and process alignment.
• Oversee project planning, prioritization, and execution to keep the engagement on schedule within the targeted 30 to 60 day timeframe.
• Review inventory and financial data structures to support accurate reporting, transaction processing, and system reliability.
• Recommend practical improvements to strengthen system adoption, streamline workflows, and support day-to-day business operations.
• Coordinate virtual discussions and status updates with client contacts to maintain momentum and resolve implementation issues efficiently.• 7+ years of experience managing ERP or financial system implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.
• Hands-on expertise with QuickBooks in a business environment, including configuration for accounting and inventory functions.
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing organizations with an understanding of production-related operational needs.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, financial controls, and accounting system workflows.
• Ability to assess partially completed implementations and independently drive projects through to completion.
• Proven project management skills, including rollout planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution within a defined timeline.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a virtual interview and project environment.
