Job Description
We are looking for a versatile RPA Developer to support manufacturing operations through process analysis, automation design, and technical problem-solving in Columbus, Ohio. This position blends business analysis with hands-on development, giving you the opportunity to work closely with plant and IT teams to identify inefficiencies and turn them into practical automated solutions. The role is ideal for someone who can interpret operational needs, work with data and enterprise systems, and deliver reliable tools that improve performance across the production environment.
Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and support UiPath automations that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across manufacturing-related workflows.
• Partner with production, operations, and IT stakeholders to evaluate current processes, gather requirements, and define effective future-state solutions.
• Analyze business workflows on the plant floor and translate operational challenges into clear technical specifications and automation opportunities.
• Query and manage data within relational databases to support reporting, process logic, and automation inputs and outputs.
• Collaborate with enterprise system users to improve how production, inventory, shipping, and related data are utilized in day-to-day operations.
• Develop supplemental technical components using tools such as C#, .NET, and Visual Studio when custom integration or scripting is needed beyond standard automation capabilities.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization to ensure bots are stable, scalable, and ready for production use.
• Contribute to project planning, documentation, and delivery activities using structured problem-solving and business analysis best practices.
• Travel occasionally to other facilities by car or air to support implementations, stakeholder collaboration, and operational alignment.
