Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Wisconsin.

• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
\n
• Respiratory Therapy department
\n
• NICU patient population, among others
\n
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p–7a
\n
• Alternating schedule: 3 shifts one week (36 hrs) and 4 shifts the next week (48 hrs)
\n
• Every other weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
\n
• Holiday rotation required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 4 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
\n
• NICU experience required
\n
• Active WI Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
\n
• Current certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and BLS
\n
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Perform diagnostic and pulmonary function tests and develop individualized patient treatment plans
\n
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory progress and adjust care plans accordingly
\n
• Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals as needed
\n
• Educate patients on administering respiratory treatments and using related equipment
\n
