Job Summary\nCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Manage and coordinate care for high-risk pregnancies in a high-volume labor and delivery environment. \n
- Function as a Baby Nurse during delivery, providing immediate newborn care and assessment. \n
- Circulate in the operating room for C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries. \n
- Administer medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as necessary. \n
- Provide patient education and support for breastfeeding and post-partum care. \n
- Float between postpartum, antepartum, and sister facilities as required. \n
- \n
- Current RN license with 3-5 years of experience in a high-acuity L&D environment. \n
- Current BLS and NRP certification; ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and Intermediate preferred. \n
- Experience with Epic charting system and electronic fetal monitoring. \n
- Ability to perform neonatal assessments and administer Vitamin K and eye care to newborns. \n
- Strong clinical references and clinical review passed. \n
- Experience with high-risk obstetric procedures and environments preferred. \n
