Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide holistic care and support to mothers and newborns.
\n
• Monitor labor progression and fetal heart rates using EFM.
\n
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including Cesarean sections.
\n
• Administer medications and manage pre- and post-delivery pain.
\n
• Educate patients and families about postpartum care and breastfeeding.
\n
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment at all times.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Valid Alaska RN license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
\n
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
\n
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP certifications.
\n
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed to meet facility demands.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support care teams and patients.
\n
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
\n
