Position: ICU RN (Cardiac Critical Care Unit)
Location: Pinehurst, NC (FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Starting 06/15/2026)
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hrs/week)

Required Experience

\t
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
\t
• Cardiac ICU / critical care experience required
\t
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
\t
• Experience with ventilated patients and critical care drips
\t
• Epic EMR experience required
\t
• First-time travelers accepted

Education

\t
• Graduate of an accredited RN program

Certifications & Licensure

\t
• Active North Carolina RN License (or pending accepted)
\t
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
\t
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Additional Requirements

\t
• Must not reside in Moore County
\t
• Every other weekend required (6–9 shifts per contract)
\t
• Float required
\t
• Only 1 RTO request allowed (must be included at submission)
\t
• Cannot accommodate holiday RTO
\t
• Modules required pre-start (non-billable)
\t
• Facility conducts additional drug screening upon arrival

Role Responsibilities

\t
• Provide care for critically ill cardiac patients (STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, A-Fib, post-arrest, sepsis)
\t
• Manage advanced cardiac equipment including IABP and Impella
\t
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips
\t
• Perform arterial line and central line management
\t
• Care for ventilated patients and manage respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC)
\t
• Administer blood products and IV therapies
\t
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
\t
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
