    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in Labor & Delivery specialty at Jackson Purchase Medical Center, a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited facility in Mayfield, KY.
  • Facility offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services including New Beginnings Birthing Center and Advanced Healing Wound Care Center.
  • Role requires OB/L&D experience and charge experience.
  • Patient population includes OB/NSY with occasional Gyn Surgery, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty.
  • Professional personality fit required.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have RN licensure valid in Kentucky.
  • Required certifications prior to start: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, HWC, NRP, PALS.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery specialty.
  • Must have OB/L&D experience and charge experience.
    Schedule Information
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed.
  • Shift details not specified explicitly.
  • Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed.
  • Call requirements as needed.
  • Float requirements as needed.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: Labor and Delivery (Cost Center 474170701).
  • Number of beds in unit: 8.
  • Patient ratios per AWHONN standards.
  • EHR system: MediTech.
  • Supervisor: Director of Women’s Services.
  • Required certifications for unit: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.
  • Must have OB/L&D experience and charge experience.
    Additional Details
  • Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
  • Local rate applies for candidates within 60 miles; this is a travel position.
  • Dress code: Scrub color any; no casual wear allowed.
