Job description:\n\nLabor and Delivery Registered Nurse\n\nLouisville KY\n\nQualifications\n\nAssociate's degree in nursing required\nActive Kentucky RN License required\nBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required\nAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required\nNeonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) required\nWork Experience\nResponsibilities\n\nRegistered Nurse Labor & Delivery- Full Time, Nights\nNursing staff roles include the labor nurses who support labor and delivery, and delivery team nurses caring for newborns during the immediate newborn period\nThe unit has 24/7 in-house anesthesia, neonatology, and OB hospitalist support\nRegistered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned to his/her care regardless of age (i.e\ninfancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient's care\nThe registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care\nThe registered nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes\nThe registered nurse serves as a role model through actively participating in the process of continuous professional development and lifelong learning
