Job Description
The Heritage Center & Horizons Rehabilitation at Holiday Health Care is now recruiting licensed Evening Shift CNAs to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. This position will provide basic, direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist in the maintenance of the resident's environment and unit.
As a CNA for the Heritage Center & Horizons Rehabilitation, you will assist the nurse in a variety of nursing functions, including but not limited to transferring, personal hygiene, feeding, and activities of daily living.

Position Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding of geriatric residents and their families and loved ones.
- Demonstrates the ability to be organized and take direction.
Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a physical.
- Standing at least 90% of your shift
- Frequent movements including: bending/stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, reaching, balancing, pushing/pulling, and occasionally crawling.
- Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs., and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to lift and transfer patients, using proper body mechanics.
- Must be able to operate the necessary equipment, using proper body mechanics.
- Must be able to perform Range of Motion in both upper extremities, lower extremities, and in your spinal cord.
- Must be able to pass a visual acuity test.
