Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU experience and SD or compact RN licensure.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
\n
• Manage total patient care for critically ill ICU patients including septic shock, post-PCI, respiratory failure, overdose, STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-operative patients
\n
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
\n
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• 13-week contract length
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (SD or Compact) currently in hand
\n
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
\n
• Skilled in managing drips, ventilators, and arterial lines
\n
• No previous permanent employment with Avera or Sanford health systems allowed
\n
