American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in an acute care respiratory therapy unit.
Details- Acute care hospital respiratory therapy unit
- Primarily adult patient population, with some pediatric patients
- Uses Servo-I ventilators and performs ABG draws and analysis
- MEDITECH EMR — familiarity preferred
- Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- CRT or RRT credential via NBRC required (RRT preferred)
- BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred
- Responsibilities include mechanical ventilation management, ABG sampling and interpretation, and general respiratory care for adult and some pediatric patients
- Pediatric and labor and delivery assignments may be available depending on candidate experience
- MEDITECH and Servo-I ventilator experience would reduce orientation time
