Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles in the Labor & Delivery unit.
  • \n
  • Monitor and assess the health of mothers and babies, including vital signs interpretation, fetal monitoring, and response to interventions.
  • \n
  • Prepare for and assist with labor and delivery procedures including Cesarean sections.
  • \n
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and provide other therapeutic treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • \n
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and emotional support.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in compliance with hospital guidelines and regulations.
  • \n
\n\nQualifications\n
    \n
  • Current state RN license or compact license recognized by the state.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing required.
  • \n
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate fetal monitoring required.
  • \n
  • Competency in external and internal fetal monitoring techniques.
  • \n
  • Experience with electronic medical records, such as Meditech, is preferred.
  • \n
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating weekends.
