American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Generalist) with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification to join a Level I Trauma Center academic medical center.
Details- Large, short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center with over 1,500 staffed beds
- General Ultrasound unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
- Night shifts: 4x10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Charting via Epic EMR
- May be required to float to sister facilities as needed
- Parking available at an additional cost to the traveler
- 13-week contract
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (Generalist)
- ARDMS certification required
- Active state license required prior to start date; pending licensure accepted for consideration
- Experience at a large acute care facility with Trauma Center experience required
- Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination exemptions are considered for religious or medical reasons only
- Teal scrub tops and bottoms required
