Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR
Location: Salem, VA
Position Type: Permanent Contingent
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Rotating Weekends
Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM OR 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
On-Call Requirement: 9 Days On-Call
Compensation Range: $36.61/hr – $54.91/hr
On-Call Pay: $3.25/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: $1,500

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR for an exciting Travel or Local job in Salem, VA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Scrub and assist during CVOR procedures and C-sections
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
• Support infant testing and related perioperative tasks under RN direction
• Accurately process patient information and registrations when required
• Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and clinical staff
• Maintain surgical equipment and physical work environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
• Provide support during approximately 5 open-heart cases monthly

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program required
• Must meet Virginia state grandfathering requirements if applicable
• Active Virginia Surgical Technician License required at time of submission
• Must be registered with the State of Virginia
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Previous scrub or hospital surgical tech experience preferred
• Strong cardiovascular surgical experience highly preferred
