Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, ensuring surgical equipment and instruments are available and sterile.
• Support surgical staff during procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic principles and responding promptly to requests.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weeknight and weekend call as required.
• Handle post-surgical procedures, cleaning and resetting the operating room for subsequent surgeries.
• Manage inventory and ensure all surgical supplies are well stocked and within expiration.
• Adhere to all hospital guidelines regarding scrubs, block schedules, and case load management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Familiarity with General Surgery procedures and floating to multiple service lines.
• Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Previous travel experience is needed; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Required to have experience with the EPIC charting system.
