Position Summary

The Seasonal Part-Time Groundskeeper supports the Grounds Maintenance Department in maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the Caldwell Zoo grounds. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests, staff, and animals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, watering, weeding, raking, and trimming landscaped areas

• Perform general lawn and landscape maintenance

• Remove litter and debris throughout zoo grounds

• Clean walkways, driveways, and public areas

• Maintain and clean picnic areas

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus, but not necessary

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
