Material Handling Equipment Service Specialist
Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
Compensation starting at $22–$26 per hour | Benefits start on day one!

You’ll inspect, test, and tune a mix of lift trucks—resolving issues before they become downtime and documenting everything so the fleet runs safely and efficiently.

What you’ll do- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on forklifts and related material handling equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; implement timely, effective fixes.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure all work aligns with applicable standards.
- Accurately record services, parts used, and findings in maintenance systems.
- Partner with teammates to streamline processes and elevate equipment performance.
- Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders on status, timelines, and recommendations.
- Keep current with new technologies and trends in forklift systems.
- Proven experience servicing forklifts or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and hydraulic components.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team setting.
- Clear, professional communication and customer service mindset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate forklifts safely.
- Technical certification in forklift repair is a plus.
- 1–2 years entering work orders and PMs into computerized maintenance/asset tracking systems.
- Exposure to Crown, Raymond, and Toyota material handling equipment is a plus.
- Candidates with automotive backgrounds or wheeled-army mechanics experience are encouraged to apply.
