Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Case Management position requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute hospital case management setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM — no exceptions
- 5x8-hour shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
- Orientation is 24 hours
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license recognized in NC, currently in hand
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
- Acute hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACM or CCM certification preferred
- BSN preferred; graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

- Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, utilization review, and discharge planning to promote continuity of care and cost-effectiveness
- The role requires a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail, adaptability to frequent change, and compliance with regulatory and departmental guidelines
- Candidates will be interviewed by the hiring manager
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
