Job Opening: Ranch Hand / Groundskeeper
Location: Brookshire TX area
Pay: $12.50HR
Full-time (60 hours paid each week)
We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Groundskeeper/ Ranch Hand to help maintain well-kept ranch land, hay fields, and buildings. This is an outdoor, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment and staying active.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Mowing, weed-eating, trimming, and general landscaping
- Building and repairing fences
- Maintaining ranch equipment (tractors, trailers, tools, etc.) -- (training available)
- Performing basic repairs and upkeep on buildings and barns
- Harvesting hay and assisting with other seasonal ranch tasks
- Ability to use a riding lawn mower
Requirements:
- Prior experience in landscaping or ranch work preferred
- Able to operate common ranch equipment like tractors or bulldozers
- Able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical outdoor labor in varying weather
- Clean driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Schedule:
- 8–12 hour shifts - typical work week is 45-50 working hours but paid as 60 hours each week
- Weekend work may be required on a rotating basis
