We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing setting. This role is critical in ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of production equipment.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will work closely with production teams to respond to equipment issues quickly and perform preventative maintenance to reduce future breakdowns.

Schedule

  • 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night)
  • Includes weekends on a rotating basis
  • Candidates must be comfortable working both day and overnight schedules

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using testing equipment and schematics
  • Work with motors, sensors, PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, and automated equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with 480V systems, motor controls, sensors, and basic PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience
  • PLC experience (Allen-Bradley or similar systems)
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing or production environments
