Job Description
Worldwide leader in steel manufacturing is seeking several project and construction managers for their facility in Gary, IN
These will be LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunities
Expenses included if not local and will be discussed and agreed upon
PM needs – currently looking for someone to lead an infrastructure project within our utilities department.
This will involve engineering and construction phases of a project to make several modifications to our blast furnace gas main system.
The start date is immediate and the project duration would be about 8+ months.
There is potential for moving to other projects after this is complete, if the person works out well.
Ideal candidate would have good mechanical/piping background which includes managing both engineering and installation contractors.
This person would be acting as the owner’s project manager.
Significant field time will be required, and this area of the plant will require the person to be clean-shaven for safety purposes (high gas hazard area).
