NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technicians to join a growing Pharmacy Operations team in Cary, NC. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and are passionate about supporting patients through high-quality customer service.


This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for individuals who consistently meet performance metrics and attendance expectations.


Pharmacy Technician – Cary, NC
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity


Schedule

  • Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (onsite)
  • Permanent Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Possible rotating Saturdays once per month with a weekday off
  • Hybrid schedule may become available after 90–120 days based on attendance and performance


Work Environment

  • Onsite during training and initial employment period
  • Hybrid eligibility available after performance expectations are met
  • Onsite gym available
  • Holidays off (unpaid)


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound pharmacy-related calls
  • Schedule medication refills, deliveries, and payments
  • Provide prescription status updates and general account support
  • Route calls to appropriate pharmacy or clinical personnel when needed
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and documentation
  • Process medical claims and update progress notes
  • Verify insurance information and provide invoice copies upon request
  • Address patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Escalate adverse events or product complaints to clinical staff
  • Support overall pharmacy workflow and customer satisfaction initiatives


Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of call center or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone presence and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Medical office, pharmacy, or medical terminology experience is a plus
  • Medical claims experience is a plus
