Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Technician in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves providing specialized perioperative support in a trauma level 2 teaching facility designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Tallahassee, Florida
- Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR); minimum of 3 years of experience; at least 2 travel assignments; experience with DaVinci Surgical Systems (Xi and Si); trauma experience; circulating and scrubbing skills in operating room settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and CNOR certifications are preferred.
- Additional Information: Weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements. On-call duties depend on shift timing. Attending Electronic Medical Records (EPIC) training during orientation is mandatory; testing out of training is available. Candidates must be willing to float across different specialty pods based on their experience and needs. No block scheduling allowed. Candidates must not have a Tallahassee address.
