Mechanical Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects, primarily focused on manufacturing equipment, production lines, and equipment upgrades. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role involves managing small teams of 1-5 members and ensuring effective project planning, design coordination, and technical execution using industry-standard tools such as Inventor and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion
• Coordinate design efforts with cross-functional teams
• Perform technical analysis to validate designs and ensure project integrity
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes
• Collaborate effectively with a small team of engineers and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient with CAD software, including Inventor and SolidWorks
• Strong project management skills
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis
• Expertise in mechanical design principles
