As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, support loss prevention efforts, and communicate with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location and observe customer and employee activity to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other policy violations.
• Support retail operations by documenting incidents, completing assigned reports, and communicating professionally with management, employees, customers, and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
