Job Description
Work with a dedicated team supporting K-12 students with moderate to severe disabilities throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers flexibility, available as either part-time or full-time, tailored to fit your professional goals and preferred work schedule.
Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a welcoming educational environment near Okemos, MI, where you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create impactful student support plans.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology required
- Active state of Michigan licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 children, ideally those with a range of disabilities
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and inclusive practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Advise teachers and parents on learning, behavior, and social-emotional strategies
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Collaborate with special education professionals on intervention planning
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with regulatory requirements
