Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services in a supportive K-12 educational environment. This contract opportunity, available for either full-time or part-time hours, spans the entire 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to support a diverse caseload of students, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Current, active School Psychologist license in the state of Michigan
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for K-12 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, administration, and parents
- Compassionate approach, with excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Experience working with a range of disabilities, particularly moderate to severe, is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to guide student supports
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services for students, staff, and families
- Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings, offering insight to optimize educational outcomes
- Keep thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Support a positive and inclusive school atmosphere by delivering evidence-based interventions
