Parts Wash - 2nd shift

SVS Group currently has a full time temp/hire position for a 2nd shift Parts Wash for one of our clients in the Aerospace industry. Located in the W. Phoenix area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Moves controls to fill washing and sterilizing tanks with water and steam, and to regulate temperature in cleaning tanks.
• Loads baskets on convey or that carries parts through cleaning and sterilizing operations.
• Hand dries parts as required by customer specifications.
• Examines containers for cleanliness and defects such as dents and cracks.
• Cleans equipment as required to maintain efficient operation.
• Keep work area clean at all times (5 S’s).
• Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; or up to 6 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Excellent communication and cooperation.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to drive and operate a Forklift.
