Job Description
We are looking for an organized Administrative Project Coordinator to support a SharePoint maintenance project within the energy and natural resources sector in East Lansing, Michigan. This 3-6 month contract position blends administrative coordination and communication support with SharePoint-based editing, improvement, and information management. The ideal candidate will help keep priorities on track, maintain efficient workflows, and serve as a dependable point of contact across multiple functions; M-F 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound calls and route inquiries to the appropriate contacts with professionalism and accuracy.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support, including preparing documents, tracking tasks, and maintaining organized records.
• Manage and edit SharePoint sites, files, and shared resources to support team collaboration and information access.
• Outgoing, persistent, and confident following up to get needed information
• Work across departments to support project-related activities and ensure information is shared clearly and efficiently.
• Able to work independently and jump into projects with minimal ramp-up times
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and systems
• Experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, especially content editing and page maintenance, preferred
• Ability to handle inbound calls with strong customer service and clear communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Word
• Proactive written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Experience supporting projects through task tracking, follow-up, and coordination activities.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
