A growing company in the Thomasville, NC area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional looking for flexible hours in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process invoices, payments, and cash applications
  • Assist with monthly close and basic financial reporting
  • Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping
  • Prepare and file sales tax or other routine reports
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, and reconciliations
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment
  • Exposure to payroll or multi-functional accounting roles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Schedule: Part-time (approximately 6-10 hours/week; flexible)
