We are looking for an organized Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for a non-profit organization in Columbus, Ohio. This Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage competing priorities, provide strong administrative support, and keep executive schedules and office activities running smoothly. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle coordination tasks with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate complex calendars for leadership team members, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and internal discussions.
• Provide front-desk and general office support by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing communications appropriately.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in internal records, spreadsheets, and administrative tracking tools.
• Support executive meetings by preparing materials, organizing logistics, and helping ensure follow-up items are documented and tracked.
• Assist multiple executives with day-to-day administrative needs while balancing shifting deadlines and priorities.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other office tools to organize data, prepare reports, and support routine administrative processes.
• Contribute to special projects by tracking tasks, gathering information, and helping move assignments through completion.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external contacts to ensure timely coordination of schedules, requests, and office activities.• At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or assistant role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage calendars and coordinate schedules for leaders or multiple stakeholders.
• Experience performing data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software used for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
• Background in receptionist or front-office responsibilities, including handling calls and visitors professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, stay organized, and support special projects in a fast-paced environment.
