We are looking for a dependable Test Center Administrator to support a secure and well-organized testing environment. This is a Contract, part-time opportunity with schedules that may vary, including required Saturday availability and occasional evening or Sunday hours based on site needs. The person in this role will balance customer-facing service with careful exam oversight, helping each candidate move through the testing process smoothly and fairly.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome test takers, confirm their identity, and guide them through check-in procedures in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Enforce testing protocols by conducting security screenings, using screening tools when required, and protecting the integrity of the exam environment.
• Observe candidates throughout their exams, respond promptly to concerns, and escalate irregular situations according to established procedures.
• Preserve the security of testing rooms, materials, and equipment at all times while maintaining consistent compliance with site standards.
• Support a fair and comfortable experience for every candidate by providing clear instructions and maintaining an organized, calm setting.
• Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports when activity falls outside approved testing guidelines.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks such as scanning documents, handling clerical support, answering inquiries, and coordinating basic office activities.
• Help maintain computers and testing equipment, including packing, unpacking, and moving items safely when needed.
• Work a flexible part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on business demand and site operations.• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional college coursework or college experience is a plus.
• At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience is required, such as in retail, hospitality, reception, or other service-based environments.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and team members.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and common office applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet browsers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while handling administrative support duties in a structured environment.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk the testing room regularly, remain stationary for extended periods, and lift up to 40 pounds when necessary.
• Visual ability to monitor computer screens and camera displays, and physical ability to work safely around office and lab equipment in confined spaces.
