Multiple shifts Open:
Shift: 1st, 6am-2pm Pay Rate: $20.75
Shift: 2nd, 2pm-10pm Pay Rate: $21.25
Shift: 3rd, 10pm-6am Pay Rate: $22.25
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Oven Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate operation of industrial ovens to ensure products are baked to quality standards. The ideal candidate will follow strict operating procedures, monitor baking temperatures, and maintain documentation to ensure product consistency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate ovens according to established temperature guidelines and safety protocols
Load and unload product racks, ensuring trays are properly placed and aligned
Monitor oven performance using gauges and controls; report malfunctions immediately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent equipment damage and underbaked products
Complete and maintain accurate production documentation
Report food safety or quality issues to the appropriate team members
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Qualifications:
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to follow written instructions and communicate effectively
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred:
Experience in food manufacturing or baking operations
Forklift operator certification is an asset
Basic computer skills and familiarity with machine controls
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in hot environments and around industrial equipment
Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends
Work Environment:
Exposure to hot temperatures, loud machinery, and moving equipment
Requires proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Fast-paced, production-focused facility
Pay Details: $20.75 to $22.25 per hour
