Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Diversified is seeking a Shipping and Receiving clerk expert and manages the flow of goods into and out of a business. They process and verify shipments, ensure accurate record-keeping, and act as a liaison between the warehouse, carriers, and internal departments to guarantee timely deliveries and correct billing.

Schedule:8am-5pm Monday- Friday
Pay: $18-$20/hr Depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Outbound
Prepare and process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, sealing, and labeling materials.
Generate required shipping documents, such as bills of lading, manifests, and international export paperwork.
Track and trace shipments, proactively resolving any routing issues or delivery delays.

Receiving & Inbound
Unload, unpack, and examine incoming shipments for accuracy, part numbers, and visible damage.
Reconcile delivery contents against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
Process returns, document damaged goods, and route received inventory to designated stock locations.

Account Management & Administration
Ensure correct billing, freight charges, and account coding are applied to the appropriate internal or client account.
Maintain real-time visibility on warehouse capacity and inventory accuracy.
Collaborate heavily with customer service representatives and procurement to quickly address transport and delivery inquiries.

Required Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor's degree in logistics or business is a plus.
1 to 3 years of previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience.
Proficiency with inventory management software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to lift heavy packages (often up to 50 lbs) and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending.
High attention to detail, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
