Gastroenterologist Opportunity – Join a Thriving, Collegial Team in Hattiesburg, MS
Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established, hospital-affiliated group. This is an exciting opportunity to walk into immediate volume and grow a rewarding practice in a vibrant, welcoming community.
- Balanced Schedule: Approx. 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient
- Step Into Success: Established, busy practice with an immediate patient base
- Team Support: APP support in clinic + full Hospitalist team for inpatient coverage
- GI Group Size: Join a collaborative team of 4 other Gastroenterologists
- Flexible Practice: Perform general GI procedures; ERCP available if desired
- Collaborative Call Schedule: Group call is 1:5; hospital unreferred call is 10 days per month
- Opportunity to Mentor: Engage with residents and help shape the next generation of physicians
- J1 Visa Sponsorship Available
- Great patient volume with APP support included
- Clinic Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
