Job Summary

• Assist the surgical team by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during general surgical procedures.
• Understand the assigned surgical procedure and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Provide support for patient preparation, transport, and comfort, as well as building services.
• Assist the surgical care team with specific patient care duties to ensure safety and comfort.
• Respond to emergent situations following established procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of recent, strong experience as a Surgical Technician (ST).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred but not required).
