CRNA - Anesthesiology job available in Marion, North Carolina

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: June 15
• Schedule: Mixture of 8, 10, or 12 hour in-house shifts Monday–Friday
• Call Schedule: Unrestricted beeper call 5pm–7am Monday–Friday and 7am–7am Saturday–Sunday
  • Call Ratio: 1 every 4 nights (primary or secondary call)
• Orientation: Will be done on site for the first few days scheduled

Clinical Details

• Practice Settings: Acute care hospital; general, OB (approximately 200 deliveries annually), ortho, endo
• Support Staff: 1 MD + 3 CRNAs in house daily
• Care team model
• Ratio of MD:CRNA 1:3
• Beds: 30 inpatient beds
• Daily patient volume: Average 150 cases per month
• Call is required
  • When on call, will function as a solo provider without the supervision of an anesthesiologist
  • Greater than 50% callback rate when on primary call mostly due to add on cases or cases during the day and epidural placements overnight

Requirements

• Certifications: Regional anesthesia course certification highly preferred
• Experienced in OB required
• Licenses: Active NC license or IMLC allowing faster NC license processing
• Case Logs: Must be able to produce case logs showing regional and OB proficiency
• Must be comfortable in a highly autonomous environment including solo call
