American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a small critical access-style hospital, requiring TNCC certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details- Work in a combined Acute Care Unit serving Med/Surg, Emergency Department, and Outpatient Infusion functions
- Small unit with 6 Med/Surg beds and 3 ER beds
- Patient population includes inpatient, observation, and swing-bed cases
- Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, post-op (ortho), pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive
- Outpatient infusion responsibilities included
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
- EMR: Athena
- Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- AHA Procedural Sedation Module certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Two supervisor, manager, or director references preferred for consideration
- Role combines Med/Surg inpatient care, emergency nursing, swing-bed, and outpatient infusion responsibilities
