Job Summary: Reports to the Dialysis Nurse Manager/Coordinator of the Dialysis program. Maintains a collaborative working relationship with the Medical Director, Manager, Technical Leader, and all unit staff. Responsibilities include patient admission and ongoing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, monitoring dialysis therapy, administering medications, and providing patient education. Assumes Charge Nurse responsibilities, oversees care provided by LPNs and non-licensed personnel, and demonstrates leadership through professional role modeling, communication, and problem-solving. Adheres to infection control policies and organizational values, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• At least 12 months of nursing experience, including 3 months of experience providing care to maintenance Hemodialysis patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a dialysis setting.

Additional Information:

• Must pass a color vision test and respond to audible alarms.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and pushing patients and equipment.
• May be exposed to hazardous materials and waste.
