American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center, with required experience in inpatient CT imaging across a high-volume, diverse caseload.
Details- CT scan department serving a wide variety of cases from a Level III Trauma Center ED
- High-volume unit with an average daily caseload of 160 patients
- Cases include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Preferred experience includes outpatient, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, children's hospital, NICU, PICU, IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations/drainage, myelography, and GE scanner equipment
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00–07:30
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Cerner EMR — experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
- Minimum 18 months of CT Technologist experience
- Required experience: inpatient, ER, community hospital, adult ICU, PACS, contrast administration, and the full range of CT imaging modalities listed above
- Indiana state license or Compact license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible to apply
- Any permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system are required to take a consecutive break before reapplying — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, both prior to reaching the 12-month mark
