American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Case Management position requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and an NC or compact RN license.
Details- Acute hospital case management unit
- Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, no exceptions
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
- Average daily census of 20 patients on weekdays and 70 on weekends
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACM or CCM certification preferred
- BSN preferred; graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
- Acute hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, care planning, utilization review, and discharge planning to promote continuity of care and cost-effectiveness
- The role requires a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail, adaptability to frequent change, and compliance with regulatory and departmental guidelines
- Orientation is 24 hours
- Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the hiring manager
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
