We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Odessa, TX!
Integrated Pain Associates (IPA) is a physician-led, multi-site pain management group dedicated to restoring function and improving quality of life for patients suffering from chronic pain. With clinics and surgical centers across Texas, IPA combines advanced interventional techniques with compassionate, patient-centered care.
Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants will find a rewarding career as an integral member of the team at our flagship location in Odessa, TX. Responsibilities and Duties
The Advanced Practice Provider will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the clinical team. Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical exam, pain assessment, and documentation.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions, including spine-related, musculoskeletal, and neuropathic disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, labs, and other clinical studies as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, with a focus on minimally invasive interventional treatment options.
- Assist with or perform therapeutic injections and procedures as appropriate based on training and scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expectations, and ongoing care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, clinical staff, outside providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Promote a collaborative, respectful, and accountable team environment while upholding patient confidentiality and professional standards.
- Participate in ongoing clinical learning, feedback, and professional development.
Qualification
- Degree from an accredited NP or PA Program new grads are welcome!
- Texas NP or PA License
- Texas DEA license
- NPI number
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Strong computer skills and ability to effectively navigate Electronic Medical Record
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to think independently and make sound decisions
