Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a WI or compact RN license in hand, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
\n
• Patient population includes antepartum, labor & delivery, LDRP, Mother/Baby, and Level 1 Nursery cases
\n
• Baby-friendly protocols are in use on this unit
\n
• Charting is performed in Epic, which is required
\n
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
\n
• Every 3rd weekend is required
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• Travelers may float as 'Helping Hands' to other units within their scope to meet facility needs
\n
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager's discretion
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active WI RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
\n
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
\n
• Preferred certifications: STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS
\n
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Experience with antepartum, LDRP, Mother/Baby, and Level 1 Nursery care required
\n
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
\n
