Job Description

Join SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC)- a distinguished non-profit health consortium dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of beautiful Southeast Alaska. We are seeking a compassionate, full?time Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician to join an established and collegial primary care team at the Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center in Sitka. This position offers a rewarding mix of outpatient and inpatient pediatrics, including hospital call responsibilities for newborn delivery attendance, newborn care, and pediatric admissionsallowing physicians to practice full?spectrum pediatrics while making a  meaningful impact in the community.

  • Call is Q5 working 7am-7pm for 7 days 
  • Round on babies with an average census of 0-2 
  • Explore Southeast Alaska with travel to our villages 4-6 times per year 
  • Average of 80 hospital deliveries per year 
  • Get to know your patients well by seeing an average of 16 18 patients per day 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation salary: $263,764 -$293,071 based on years of experience, with additional productivity bonus based on wRVUs, and quality incentives.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of managing OB and inpatient pediatrics experience required. Four years preferred.
  • MD or DO with active/unrestricted Oregon medical license or ability to obtain license.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Unrestricted DEA.
  • Required: BLS, PALS, NRP.
  • Preferred: STABLE.
