Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Waterford, CT. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work closely with residents in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out therapy programs established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with gait training, strengthening exercises, balance work, and transfers
• Observe resident performance during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the PT
• Support residents in reaching therapy goals safely and effectively
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Active PTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
